• Transcribe your voice recordings into text using ElevenLabs Speech-to-Text service
• Store your dream recordings locally on your device
• Improve app functionality and user experience

Data Storage

Local Storage

• All dream recordings and transcriptions are stored locally on your device using SQLite database
• We do not store your dream data on our servers
• Your data remains on your device and is only accessible to you

Audio Processing

• Audio files are temporarily sent to ElevenLabs Speech-to-Text API for transcription
• Audio files are not permanently stored on external servers
• Transcriptions are returned to your device and stored locally

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

• ElevenLabs Speech-to-Text API: For converting voice recordings to text. Please refer to ElevenLabs Privacy Policy for details on how they handle audio data.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information:

• Local data encryption on your device
• Secure HTTPS connections for API communications
• No cloud storage of personal dream data

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your dream recordings stored locally
• Delete: Remove individual dreams or all data from the app
• Export: Back up your data through device backup systems

Data Retention

• Dream data is retained locally on your device until you choose to delete it
• Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data
• Audio sent for transcription is processed and not retained by our systems

Children's Privacy

Dreamo is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
